Job summary

Med-Trans is recruiting a helicopter pilot to provide medical air transport with a dedicated team. This full-time role requires the pilot to uphold safety, regulatory compliance, and precise documentation across missions.

You will operate with a team of medical experts, maintain aircraft readiness, and coordinate with dispatch and flight crews. A highly experienced candidate will meet stringent certification and flight-hour requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• Minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
• At least 1,500 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• Minimum 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• Minimum 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers with a medical team to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FAR/Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
