Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to administer medications and treatments, ensuring safety and dignity for residents. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time and observe residents during medication passes, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, and CPR/First Aid certification, with senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
