Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer meds per orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during passes, and report concerns promptly.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certs, and strong documentation/communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Medication administration certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
