Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for residents. Administer meds per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, and document in MAR/TAR in real time.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid. Senior care experience is preferred, and you’ll join a team dedicated to compassionate resident care and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Medication Administration certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
