Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, Virginia is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to assist with prescribed medications and to support residents with activities of daily living. You will document in the EMAR/MAR, and collaborate with the HCD, RN/LPN and care team to ensure safe care and timely communication.

Extensive training is provided, with opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules, flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and a supportive work environment that emphasizes

Qualifications

Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
Must possess both CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified within 60 days.

Responsibilities

Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
Report incidents and changes in resident status to supervisors and RNs/LPNs.
Support activity programs and communicate effectively with residents and family.
