Sandimasretirement is seeking a Med Tech to join our assisted living team. The role supports prescribed medical treatment, personal care, and a safe, dignified environment for residents.

Key duties include assisting with medication self-administration, documenting changes in residents' conditions, maintaining med room operations, and communicating with physicians. A background check and Live Scan are required; prior facility experience is preferred.

Formación

• Experience in an Assisted Living Facility.
• Background check and Live Scan.
• Regular, reliable attendance per policy.
• Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with self-administration of medications per physician orders and policies.
• Document changes in residents' conditions and report to supervisors.
• Create and manage resident files with physician input and medications.
• Store and manage medications safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor medication accountability from order to administration and shift changes.
• Maintain med room operations and stock levels; place replenishment orders.
• Accompany physicians during visits and record data accurately.
• Communicate prescribing details to doctors and update MAR and binder.
• Greet residents and families, address medication concerns and complaints.
• Complete incident reports within 24 hours and notify responsible parties.
