Kensington Senior Living, Llc in Bethesda, MD is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to support Residents with prescribed medications and daily health needs. You will work under licensed nursing staff to ensure safe administration and accurate documentation.

Formación

• Current Medication Technician certification in the state of practice (if applicable).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform calculations related to dosages and measurements.
• Strong knowledge of geriatric care practices and resident-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and assist Residents with medication administration following MAR and maintain organized medication carts.
• Maintain medication inventory and labeling; follow regulatory guidelines and dispose of expired meds properly.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy to address medication issues and discrepancies; report concerns to Nursing Services.
• Maintain Resident records, MAR, care notes, and incident reports with confidentiality.
• Provide daily reports to Nursing Services on resident conditions and nursing supplies.
