Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide compassionate resident care and assist with medication administration in accordance with personalized service plans. Responsibilities include documentation, delivery, and administering treatments as prescribed, while adhering to policies and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires attention to safety, clear records, and timely communication with supervisors. Training and development are available within MBK’s supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED), required.
• Certification or education as required by state regulations.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR & First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and care as assigned and in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Notify Supervisor if medications are not administered correctly and document reasons.
• Maintain confidential medication and care records per procedures and governing requirements.
• Track medication changes and communicate with the pharmacy; report missing medications to Supervisor.
• Assist caregivers in duties per the Caregiver job description.
• Document relevant information and communicate changes in resident condition to a supervisor.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resident requests, maintaining safety standards.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Promote teamwork and mentoring in alignment with MBK principles and core values.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
