Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide compassionate, quality resident care by assisting with medication administration and daily living activities. You will document, deliver, and administer medications as prescribed, following policy, procedures, and government regulations.

The role requires 1+ years in a healthcare setting, state-mandated medication certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification or education as required by state regulations for medication administration.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid CPR & First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and resident care as assigned.
• Notify Supervisor if prescribed medication is not administered according to directions and document reasons.
• Maintain clear, accurate, complete, and confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Track all orders for medication changes and/or refills; notify the pharmacy of new orders.
• Assist caregivers in the performance of their job duties by fulfilling Caregiver responsibilities.
