Harmony seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and administer medications within the facility’s scope. The role includes maintaining logs, participating in training, and collaborating with nursing staff.

Responsibilities also include housekeeping, activity planning, and ensuring resident safety while adhering to confidentiality policies. A CNA and Med Tech license in good standing are required, with the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass 2 medication observations annually.
• Must pass all medication cart audits.
• Must attend 4 additional hours of medication administration education annually.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scoped practice.
• Assist with activities of daily living for residents.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs.
• Complete medication cart audits and maintain cart as directed.
• Document medication administration in EMAR/MAR and Daily Log.
