Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified medication technician program.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed under supervision by licensed nurses.
• Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature).
• Provide basic wound care and catheter care as needed.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of medications administered and treatments.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care.
