Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Med Technician to join our nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and assist with activities of daily living, contributing to residents' comfort and well-being.

The ideal candidate is certified as a Med Technician through the Department of Human Services and maintains up-to-date paperwork. This role may involve evenings and weekends as needed, within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Certified as a med tech through the Department of Human Services and all med tech paperwork up to date.
• Experience coordinating medication administration and assisting with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
