Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a Medication Technician to deliver high quality personal care and accurate medication administration to residents. You will review ISPs, monitor changes, mentor new staff, and support other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training.
• Previous caregiving experience in a CBRF or RCAC setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per policy and procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation.
• Maintain clean, safe living environment and proper medication storage.
• Review Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) before care duties and report changes.
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff during onboarding and supervision.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and report any breaches promptly.
