Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician certification in state of practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform dosing calculations and budgeting support.
• Strong knowledge of geriatric and dementia care.
• Excellent communication and English literacy.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and EHRs.
• Flexibility to work weekends/evenings/holidays; lift up to 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with administration or self-administration of prescribed medications.
• Maintain medication inventory and regulatory compliance.
• Review MAR and document accurately; notify Nursing leadership of concerns.
• Coordinate with pharmacy on issues and resident concerns.
• Provide daily reports on resident conditions and needs.
• Participate in move-in, transfer and discharge planning.
