Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Med Tech in Yorktown, VA to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities for residents. Responsibilities include administering medications, supporting activities, documenting in EMAR/MAR, and reporting status to the health care team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a completed Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and flexibility to work weekends and holidays is

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Maintain medication cart and complete EMAR/MAR documentation.
• Report resident status and incidents to nursing leadership.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and assist with dining and activities.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Attend medication trainings and participate in in-services.
