Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living, including administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of the Medication Aide Course, and current CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing. Occasional weekend/holiday shifts and ongoing medication training are included as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Handle medication cart audits and EMAR/MAR documentation.
• Report incidents and health concerns to supervising staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining rooms and activities.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions.
