Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Med Tech to provide quality care and assist with daily living activities. You will support prescribed medication administration within scope, maintain logs, and communicate resident status to the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations and audits annually.
• Must attend required medication trainings and education.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain policies and records; document in Daily Log and EMAR/MAR.
• Communicate resident status, appointments, admissions, and transfers in writing.
• Clean and organize resident rooms and assist in daily chores as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies; participate in activities.
