Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is hiring a Med Tech (CMT) to manage medications for residents in a home-like setting. You will build relationships with residents while supporting their health and well-being.

Qualified candidates hold an MD Board of Nursing–licensed CMA, are 18+, and fluent in English. Expect competitive pay with shift differentials on evenings and overnights, plus extensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have direct-care experience and be ready to advance your career.
• Licensed Certified Medication Technician with the MD Board of Nursing in good standing.
• 18 years of age or older and able to understand/speak English sufficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage medications for residents in a home-like setting and ensure safety and comfort.
• Observe residents' day-to-day behavior and outlook to support well-being.
• Use Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents as needed.

Pay ranges from $19.25- $23/ hour, based on experience, with the opportunities for shift differentials on evening and overnight shifts.

• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
• Use of Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents, as needed.
• Licensed Certified Medication Technician with the MD Board of Nursing and in good standing.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred.
• Highly organized skills.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
