Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities in Mechanicsburg, PA, is hiring a Med Tech to advance direct-care skills by managing medications for residents in a home-like setting.

This full-time evening shift (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) includes a shift differential and built-in OT; offers comprehensive benefits and a path to tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Prior direct-care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Highly organized skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows safe, efficient performance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, getting to know them personally while administering medications and treatments, observing their day-to-day behavior and outlook and ensuring their comfort and overall positive well-being.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, and toileting as needed
• Provide social and emotional support, while encouraging residents' independence.
• Manage the medication cart for complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.

In this role, you will manage medications with our residents in a home-like setting, while forming relationships with them and contributing to their overall health.

Full Time: 7:00p.m.-7:00a.m. (includes a shift differential; 6 hours of O.T. built in and working 7 days in a 14 day pay period)
