Job summary

Country Meadows is seeking a Medication Technician Per Diem in Bethlehem, NY, responsible for safely administering medications to residents in a home-like setting. The role offers direct-care duties with a focus on building relationships and contributing to health and well-being.

The position features Per Diem shifts (7:00 am–3:00 pm and 3:00 pm–11:00 pm), and pay starts at $18.50/hour with potential to earn more based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient rights.
• English language proficiency for safe care and communication.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Up-to-date medication certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents and administer medications and treatments.
• Provide social and emotional support and encourage resident independence.
• Manage the medication cart with up-to-date supplies and quality checks.
• Observe residents daily and ensure comfort and well being.
• Assist with or perform routine tasks as assigned by supervisors.
