Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is hiring a Medication Technician at our Wyomissing campus. You will manage medications for residents in a home-like setting, building relationships and contributing to overall health.

The position is FT, 3pm-11pm, every other weekend and holiday, with pay starting at $18.50/hour and growth opportunities based on experience. We seek someone with prior Med Tech experience, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/first aid familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must have prior Med Tech/Assoc Experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR and first aid preferred.
• Respect for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Up-to-date medication certification requirements preferred.
• Highly organized skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments to residents.
• Observe residents for day-to-day health and well-being and provide comfort.
• Manage the medication cart with up-to-date supplies and quality control.
• Provide social and emotional support while encouraging residents’ independence.
• Assist residents with daily routines (bathing, dressing, toileting) throughout the day.
