Job summary

Trustwell Living, LLC in Klamath Falls, Oregon, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to provide direct resident care under the supervision of the Health Services Director/Charge Nurse. You will assist with medications, document administration, and help residents with daily activities.

The role requires attention to safety, confidentiality, and adherence to state and federal regulations, plus ability to communicate clearly with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Qualified Medication Aide program completion with current license.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• 18–24 months experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as ordered by their physician(s).
• Documents all functions related to medication management as required by regulation and community protocols.
• Obtains, receives, and stores medication(s) from pharmacy.
• Participates in the medication training program and demonstrates competency.
• Maintains order and cleanliness in the medication storage area.
• Assist residents with daily bath, dressing, grooming, and basic room care.
• Provide routine charting entries including vital signs and weight; report changes.
• Prepare residents for meals and perform after-meal care; maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges; inventory possessions.
• Understand infection control, safety rules and report safety violations.
• Attend orientation, training and staff meetings.
