Job summary

Golden-Harbor-Assisted-Living is seeking a Medication Technician to safely administer medications, support residents with daily living activities, and mentor new staff. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, teamwork, and collaboration with other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You will review Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), report changes in residents’ conditions, and follow DHS regulations while providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• “Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and required CBRF core trainings.”
• Previous caregiving experience in a CBRF or RCAC setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following the Six Rights and document accordingly.
• Review ISPs and report condition changes to supervisor.
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff.
• Assist with ADLs, dining, activities, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
