Glen Park senior living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Medication Technician/Caregiver to join our team. As a leader in the senior housing industry, we are looking for individuals passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care to seniors in an assisted living setting.

Job Summary

As the Medication Technician/Caregiver, you will assist with the basic needs of residents in our Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). You will administer medication in accordance with California Title 22 regulations, order and reorder medication, and ensure that residents receive the highest quality care. You will work closely with medical professionals to promote resident health and well-being, ensuring residents stay stress-free while maintaining independence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with the basic needs of residents in an RCFE setting.
2. Provide ethical and respectful care to residents.
3. Administer medication to residents in accordance with Title 22 regulations.
4. Order and reorder medications following physician instructions.
5. Monitor medication administration records and report errors.
6. Provide documentation and communicate effectively with physicians and medical professionals.
7. Schedule resident doctor’s appointments.
8. Work with medical staff to reduce pain and promote engagement, ensuring residents stay stress-free.
9. Maintain a safe work environment and stay composed during emergencies.

What We Require:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience as a caregiver, managing 20+ residents within an 8-hour shift.
• Mandatory Live-Scan Clearance, TB test, and CPR/AED certification required upon job offer.
• Knowledge of medication administration and compliance with Title 22 regulations.

Schedule

• Morning Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (may include weekends)
• Mixed AM and PM shifts, including weekends
