Caregiver Med Tech - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).

Butler, PA - Full-time

Caregiver Med Tech Pay Rate starting at $17.90 per hour.

Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.

Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

Licensed personal care community opening in the Summer of 2025 with accommodations for 29 individuals needing more support with activities of daily living. Located near the Benbrook Medical Center Complex in Butler, PA. Comfortable and home-like environment offering a person-centered approach to care.

Enhances the abundant life of residents by providing assistance through performance of routine direct and indirect resident activities according to established policies and procedures. Maintains resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality. Promotes resident acceptance of support plans and responds promptly to overall resident needs.

Benbrook Place is planning to have new hires start at the end of July in preparation for the anticipated opening in August 2025.


Qualifications

Caregiver Med-Tech qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) as per regulation. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience with service for elders is preferred.
  • Successful completion of state medication approved administration course and direct care programs. CPR/First Aide or successful completion after hire.
  • Basic knowledge of computers required.
