Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Med Tech ALF or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Med Tech program or college coursework preferred.
• Current Med Tech (MTE) or CNA certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to resident needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical procedures such as catheter care and wound care.
• Take vital signs (BP, temp, pulse).
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians or nurses.
• Assist with morning/evening care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Monitor and report changes to licensed nurses.
• Collaborate with the team to implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
