Job summary

River Bend Health and Rehabilitation in Asheville, NC is seeking a compassionate Med Tech ALF to join our team. You will perform various medical procedures, monitor residents, and administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Med Tech ALF experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a current Med Tech (MTE) or CNA certification. The role emphasizes teamwork, care quality, and resident dignity.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and bladder scan.
• Take vital signs: blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians or licensed nurses.
• Assist with morning and evening care: bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and report changes in resident's condition to licensed nurses; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal resident care.

Med Tech Job Summary:

Med Tech Responsibilities:

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing resident needs
