Job summary

Ridgecrest in Mount Airy, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant-MedTech to provide direct patient care and maintain health records. You will support daily living activities, assist with dining, and help with medications under supervision.

State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech, CPR/AED/First Aid, and 1-2 years of healthcare experience are preferred. This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and teamwork in a caring Senior Living community.

Qualifications

• State Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Med Tech.
• Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
• Assist residents with dining, escorting, taking orders, serving, feeding, meal prep and cleanup.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks such as bed making, trash removal, laundry, and room/bathroom cleaning.
• Lead and assist with life enrichment activities with guidance from Life Enrichment Leaders and Supervisors.
• Escort residents to scheduled programming and participate in outings/day trips as applicable.
• Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered by regulations.
• Administer prescription medications at the appropriate times for assigned unit during shift; sign off on medications.
• Attend in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
