Job summary

TerraBella Lake Norman is seeking a Med Tech to join our compassionate team. The role provides hands-on care and support to residents while maintaining a safe, home-like environment, reporting changes to the Nurse or RCC as needed.

In this position you will assist with medications, monitor vital signs, and help residents with daily living activities, while upholding privacy, dignity, and the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse's Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews service plan to learn pertinent information about residents.
• Assists/observes medications and treatments using the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Documents and initials forms as medications are given including refusals or missed doses.
• Maintains confidentiality of all resident information including medication.
• Counts all narcotics with another Med Tech or Nurse each shift.
• Maintains and cleans the Medication Room and med charts.
• Follows refill process and participates in Service Plan updates.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as instructed.

Certified Nurse's Aide certification
