Inspired Living at Alpharetta is seeking a dependable Med Tech to help residents live safely and with dignity. You will provide medication management and personal care according to residents' service plans and physician orders, and follow MAR procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred/required.
• Ability to accurately read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for caring for older adults.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to doing things the right way.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and accurately follow the MAR.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the clinical team, families, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with other Med Techs and care team members to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and provide direction to team members during assigned shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful environment for residents and teammates.
