Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Med Tech ALF or related field.

• Current certification as a Med Tech (MTE) or Nurse Assistant (CNA) required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing resident needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and bladder scan.
• Take vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians or licensed nurses.
• Assist with morning and evening care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Monitor and report changes in resident's condition to licensed nurses.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident's care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal resident care.
