Job summary

Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield, MI, is seeking a Med Tech to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration. Join a team that values safety, compassion, and high-quality care in a welcoming community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Administer medications and injections per physician orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in resident areas.
• Monitor residents for changes and report to supervisor promptly.
• Document medications accurately and follow safety procedures.
• Respond to call lights and assist with meals as needed.
• Support other team members and participate in orientation and training.

As a Med Tech you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
