Job summary

Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield is seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate care to residents. The role includes assisting with daily activities, light housekeeping, and accurate medication documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor.
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning.
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary.
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
