Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, transferring, walking).
• Maintain cleanliness and light housekeeping as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents and report changes to supervisor promptly.
• Assist with meal trays and eating; respond to call lights.
• Document medications accurately and clearly.
• Support other team members as needed and ensure resident safety.
• Participate in orientation and training programs.

As a Caregiver you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
