Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Ensure cleanliness of the environment including light housekeeping.
• Comply with safety and infection-control procedures.
• Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes to supervisor.
• Follow schedule and assist with repositioning.
• Record medications accurately.

You will also attend a thorough orientation and training to excel in your role.As a Caregiver you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
