Cranberry Park Senior Living Facility in West Bloomfield is seeking a Med Tech to support residents with daily activities and medication administration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities (transfers, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Administer medications and injections per physician orders and document accurately.
• Maintain environmental cleanliness and observe safety and infection control procedures.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to supervisor promptly.
• Respond to call lights and assist residents with meals as needed.
• Support other team members with duties as required.

As a Med Tech you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
