Job summary

Bridgeway Park Blissfield in Blissfield is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to join our senior living team on a part-time basis from 6am to 2pm. You will administer medications, support residents with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in a welcoming setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to residents with daily living activities (transfer, bathing, dressing, toileting, walking).
• Administer medications and injections per physician orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with light housekeeping as needed.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and health standards.
• Monitor residents' condition and communicate changes to supervisor.
• Document medications accurately and follow procedures.
• Respond to call lights and assist residents promptly.

Join our team at Bridgeway Park Blissfield Senior Living Facility in Blissfield as a Med Tech. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents. Part-time, 6am - 2pm

As a Med Tech you will be in charge of

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
