Job summary

Wheatland Village a Generations Community in Walla Walla, WA is seeking a Medication/Caregiver staff to ensure residents receive prescribed medications and follow care plans. Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is required, with medication assistance credentials highly preferred.

This full-time night shift (9:30 pm – 6:00 am) offers competitive pay and benefits, including PTO, medical-dental-vision, 401(k) match, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide license is required.
• Medication assistance certification is necessary.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.

• Pay or shift range: $18.50 USD to $24.72 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

Medication/Caregiver staff at Wheatland Village are responsible for ensuring residents receive medication as prescribed by their physicians. They follow resident care plans and physician orders to ensure resident safety and well-being while complying with all Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. They incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

• Full-time in Memory Care, from 9:30 pm - 6:00 am
• Availability for weekends/holidays preferred

Requirements:

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience & certification in Medication Assistance are necessary.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
