Generations in California is seeking empathetic part-time Med Techs/Caregivers to assist residents with daily living activities, always treating them with dignity and respect. Follow care plans and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate support.

We offer PTO, medical/dental/vision for full-time, 401(k) match, on-the-job training, growth opportunities, and a safe work environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with 5:30am-2:00pm or 1:30pm-10:00pm shifts in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.

Job description

Med Techs/Caregivers at Carmel Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL's) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation's Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Part-time in Assisted Living, available to work 5:30 am - 2:00 pm OR 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm on varying days
• Part-time in Memory Care, working 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• 8-Hour Shifts
• Must have weekend and holiday availability
• Back-up Caregiver

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
