Job summary

Paradise Village in National City, CA is seeking an Activities (Vitality) Assistant in Memory Care to support whole-person wellness by encouraging participation in campus events and activities. The role involves assisting with activities that enrich mind, body, and spirit and communicating the Vitality philosophy to residents and staff on site.

This full-time, on-site position offers an hourly wage of $17.96 to $22.83, with Sundays through Thursdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Memory Care/Dementia Care.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Description

The Activities (Vitality) Assistant at Paradise Village supports whole-person wellness by encouraging participation in campus events and activities. This position assists with activities that enrich the mind, body, and spirit. Communicates the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participating to staff and residents both verbally and by example. Complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their work and interactions with others.
