Job summary

CherryWood Village in Portland, OR seeks Medication staff for Memory Care to administer medications as prescribed and follow resident care plans and physician orders to ensure safety and well-being. You will work with a compassionate team to support residents daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior memory care or medication assistance experience preferred.
• Nursing assistant or home health aide certification is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Description

Medication staff in Memory Care at Cherrywood Village are responsible for ensuring residents receive medication as prescribed by their physicians. Medication staff follow resident care plans and physician's orders to ensure resident safety and well-being while complying with all Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. They incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Full-time, Tuesdays through Fridays, from 5:30 am - 2:00 pm
• 8 Hour Shifts
• Holiday availability preferred

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in Medication Assistance is preferred
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
