Job summary

Generations is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist residents at Wheatland Village with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and respect in every interaction. You will follow resident care plans under community leadership and uphold safety and quality standards across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.

Job description

Caregivers at Wheatland Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule

• Part-time in Memory Care, working Sundays & Mondays from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and available to cover other AM shifts when needed
• Full-time in Assisted Living, working 3 days from 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm AND 2 days from 10:00 pm - 6:00am
• Must have weekend and holiday availability

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient
