Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate MED TECH for Westmont of Santa Cruz, a full-service senior community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care.

The role involves medication setup, assisting residents with self-administration, and accurate MAR documentation under LVN/RSD direction. We offer a 4-on/2-off rotation with AM, PM, and NOC shifts, daily meals, paid holidays after 30 days, and a 401K match.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication setup and administration.
• Ability to document medication assistance per MAR and policy.
• Ability to follow physician orders and LVN/RSD directions.

What we need from you:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self-administration of their medications

• Must be able to set up, record, and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the LVN and RSD.

• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements including:

• Document medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance, leaving no blanks
• Document reasons for PRN medication on reverse of MARs, noting effectiveness ofmedication
