Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center in Alabama seeks a skilled registered nurse to provide safe, holistic patient care and education across the care continuum. The role integrates knowledge and clinical skills to meet patient needs and requires timely medication administration per standard nursing practice.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s in nursing or related field, have recent hospital experience, and satisfy licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.
• 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Alabama Board of Nursing License.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date.
• NIHSS within 90 days of hire/transfer (EAH to assist with certification completion).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
• Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred.

Summary

Shift Differential: $6.00

Nights: $3.00

Weekends: $2.00

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Education
