Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL seeks a Med Surg Float Pool RN to provide holistic, safe nursing care. The role includes medication administration and patient/family education across the continuum, with a focus on continuous improvement in practice.

Minimum two years acute care, Alabama RN license, BLS within 90 days, NIHSS within 90 days. Preferred: BSN and/or recent hospital experience; shift differentials apply.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Education

    Associate degree in nursing or equivalent

  • Minimum Experience

    2 years recent acute care experience

  • Required Registration/License/Certification

    Alabama Board of Nursing License BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date NIHSS w/in 90 days of hire/transfer (EAH to assist with certification completion)

  • Preferred Education

    Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field

  • Preferred Experience

    Recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred.
