East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive, patient‑centered care on a Med/Surg unit. You will apply evidence-based practices, administer medications, and educate patients and families to support recovery and safety.

The role requires a nursing degree, Alabama license, BLS within 90 days, and NIHSS training within 90 days. BSN preferred; 1–2 years Med/Surg experience recommended.

• Required Alabama Board of Nursing license.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• NIHSS within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred Education: BSN.
• Preferred Experience: 1–2 years Med/Surg.
• Preferred Registration/License/Certification.

POSITION SUMMARY
