Job summary

Required: California RN license and Med/Surg/Telemetry experience; preferred BLS/ACLS and bilingual skills. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Current California Nursing license
• Basic EKG competence
• BLS/ACLS certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Use nursing process to assess and plan care; anticipate patient and family needs.
• Prioritize and organize patient care; ensure follow-through with planned care.
• Provide age-appropriate care; apply current literature and critical thinking in decisions.
• Document care in IPOC and communicate changes with the physician using SBAR.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordinate with Care Managers.
• Maintain safe, clean environment complying with regulatory standards.
