Job summary

CHI St Alexius Health Williston in Williston, ND is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care within a dynamic interdisciplinary team. You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, and participate in ongoing patient education to support recovery and well-being.

Requirements include ND RN licensure, CPR within hire, and PALS/ACLS within specified timelines. A $12,500 employment incentive is offered for eligible new hires through December 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in North Dakota required at hire.
• CPR certification (AHA) required at hire.
• PALS required within 6 months of start.
• ACLS required within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and monitor changes; act as needed.
• Respond to life-threatening situations per standards and protocol.
• Prioritize care plans based on needs and available resources.
• Collaborate with providers for exceptional care.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge.

• Assesses patient’s health and continuously monitors; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
• Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
• Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
• Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
