CommonSpirit Health's CHI Williston Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires an ADN, a minimum of two years RN experience, and state RN licensure with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications at hire. PACU RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.
  • Minimum of two years RN experience.
  • ND RN license upon hire.
  • ACLS, BLS CPR, and PALS certifications upon hire.
  • PACU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge base on sedation/analgesia and anesthetic agents.
  • Assess, plan, intervene for analgesia and sedation risks.
  • Assess patient health continuously; detect changes and respond.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations per standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with care staff for smooth patient transitions and proper handoffs.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a knowledge base regarding sedation/analgesic and anesthetic agents and techniques, physiologic and physiological response to the recovering patient
  • Assess, plan, intervention for and evaluate the physical and physiological response to analgesia; able to plan for the risks and the interventions for those risks associated with the administration of sedation, analgesia, and anesthetic agents
  • Assesses patient’s health and continuously monitors; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
  • Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
  • Collaborates with other care staff to assure smooth transition for patient throughout the facility using proper hand off techniques
  • Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures

We are offering a $25,000 Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire
Preferred
  • PACU RN experience
