Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for Medical-Surgical Services to oversee RN staff during nights and evenings. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cost-effective care, with collaboration across units and with the Staffing Office to optimize patient flow and bed management.

A registered nurse with 3–5 years’ hospital experience is required, with a BSN preferred. Candidates must possess the ability to mentor staff, adhere to Mercy Service Standards, and participate in the evaluation

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in the applicable State.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on Medical-Surgical units.
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and management to optimize patient flow and bed management.
• Uphold Mercy Mission, Values and Service Standards in all duties.
